JOSHUA S. MEYER, M.D.

Joshua S. Meyer, M.D.

Dr. Meyer grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. After college, he spent several years teaching in Japan before starting medical school at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. While in medical school, he married his wife, a pediatrician from Atlanta, Georgia.

Following medical school, Dr. Meyer moved with his family to Georgia and then on to Charleston, South Carolina. In Charleston, he completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon the completion of residency, Dr. Meyer received subspecialty fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta.

Today, Dr. Meyer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He also has subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Meyer and his family are deeply invested in their church and community. They are thankful for the opportunity to serve their family, friends and patients.

Seth Garrett, M.D.


Dr. Seth Garrett grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. He earned a degree in Biochemistry. He graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Garrett has previous experience working in technology and after shadowing a family member in primary care, he realized medicine would be the most fulfilling career path. After residency, he completed additional training in Birmingham, AL, completing an interventional spine and pain fellowship. Dr. Garrett believes combining medicine and technology is key to enhancing the current medical system. Also, he believes that his skills in both these areas can be utilized for the advancement in developing the future of patient centered practice models. When he is not seeing patients or working at the hospital he enjoys fishing, playing trombone at church, watching football, gym workouts, and spending time with his family and friends.
